Gonzalo Alegria (JPP) He said that they will seek to avoid the construction of more houses on the hills and argued that retaining walls should not be built, but platforms on these slopes. “If we close the hills with platforms, it will be cheaper because we will take advantage of the UNDP and when it rains we will drain,” he explained.
Elizabeth León (Front of Hope) He pointed out that real estate development must also offer services according to the needs of the people. He stressed that investment must have a risk focus.
Juan José Espinola (Podemos Peru) explained that they have a neighborhood improvement program called “my neighborhood, my house”, aimed at caring for hillsides, improving public spaces, caring for urban mobility, implementing security and risk management.
José Rodríguez Llerena (Perú Libre) said that they have an urban plan that will create regulations to have a defined space for social housing at a construction cost of 800 soles. “People cannot live in the hills in inadequate conditions,” he pointed out.
Gina Gálvez (Somos Perú) stated that a green belt should be created so that spaces where the people of Lima do not have a quality of life do not continue to expand on the slopes of the hills. Also, they will claim a space in Sedapal.
