The student Génesis Gallardo, representative for the students in the Education Training Council (CFE), denounced that Senator Graciela Bianchi (National Party) “offended and delegitimized her in relation to the rest of the ANEP councilors.”
This happened at the meeting of the Education and Culture Committee of the Senate.
“In the Senate education commission, Senator Bianchi offended and delegitimized me in relation to the rest of the ANEP councilors, indicating that because of my youth she could not question the process of educational transformation and tried to leave me without the right to reply,” Gallardo wrote in Twitter.
“He stated that my contributions were superb,” Gallardo wrote. The senator “used part of the space of the commission to argue why she was in disagreement with the existence of elected councilors in the governance of education”, although the law determines that the integration of the Education Training Council has a representative of the order of students to be elected by vote.
