After the victory of Rejection in Sunday’s plebiscite, the opposition coalition Chile Vamos was available to continue with the constituent process, but called on the government to “have less improvisation” and “put the house in order.”
RN President, Senator Francisco Chahuancommented that “the constituent process has not ended and we are going to keep our promises, we are going to fulfill our commitment to Chile (…) the project that the President supported and promoted (Gabriel) Boric today it was defeated by the citizenry, in terms of the fact that the citizens do not want us to be divided”.

“I ask the government and I ask President Boric, less improvisation. Times and forms are important and therefore, Chile Vamos is available to continue with our constituent process, but not in any way, we cannot go wrong again with improvisations”, added the RN helmsman.
For his part, the president of the UDI, Senator Javier Macayapointed out that “today we tell them that we fulfill our commitments. Do not worry about formal issues, about meetings with the Government, we are going to have to get together, but we also know that they have to tidy up the house.”
“It is not the triumph of Chile Vamos, but of common sense and of the vast majority that said no to this proposal,” added the UDI leader.
Meanwhile, the president of Evópoli, Light Pobletestated that “politicians today have a tremendous opportunity, Chile has given them a second chance. The vindication of politics has to be now and that is to get to work for all Chileans.”
