President Gabriel Boric This Friday afternoon he arrived in Punta Arenas, Magallanes region, where he will vote for the plebiscite on September 4. Regarding the election, the President indicated that he trusts “in the wisdom of the people of Chile” and called on citizens to participate and have “confidence in the institutions.”
“I think we are on the verge of a very historic moment in the history of Chile, that it is the Chilean men and women who for the first time decide democratically regarding the fact and form of a new Constitution, it is a fact that without a doubt, whatever happens that happens on Sunday, it will transcend, and I trust in the wisdom of the people of Chile,” Boric told 24 hours.
“What I call for is to participate, for everyone to feel like they are the protagonists of this moment, to do it calmly, with confidence in the institutions, we have solid institutions in which I fully trust,” continued the head of state.
“We are going to calmly wait for the results, I am going back that day (Sunday) to Santiago, to La Moneda, and as I say, I have great confidence in the wisdom of the people of Chile,” he concluded.
