The press officer of the University of Chile, Simón Boric, brother of the President of the Republic, Gabriel Boric, was attacked by a group of strangers outside the Central House of the university.
This was confirmed by witnesses at the scene. radio dnathose who stated that “what I understand is that he went to buy here, and something happened that started a brawl, they followed him here and beat the press officer of the University of Chile, Simón Boric.”
“There were a lot of people when the event occurred. Now he goes to the post to verify injuries,” added the witnesses.
Another person passing through the sector reported that about 10 people attacked the President’s brother, detailing that “several people hit him on the ground with foot and fist blows.”
Carabineros personnel are already at the scene to gather information to clarify what happened.
