10 years in prison for a man who participated in a robbery at an exchange agency in El Millón

The National District Prosecutor’s Office obtained a 10-year prison sentence against a man who last year participated in the theft of a safe with about 58 million pesos, in a currency exchange agency in the sector. The Million.

In reference to the criminal act, the accusatory file instrumented by the National District Prosecutor’s Office establishes that Narciso González Mateo (Deivi), Ángel Arturo González Cordero (Anyer) and another person known as El Gordo (fugitives until now) stole the safe with the complicity of Monero Moreta, who worked as a driver and messenger for the exchange agency.

The four men broke the locks and doors and entered the establishment, after threatening the security agents of the place, stripping them of their weapons and tying them up. Finally, they loaded with the box, which contained 57 million 999 thousand 481 pesos.

The conduct of Jesús Alberto Monero Moreta was qualified by the Public Ministryor as an association of malefactors and aggravated robbery, crimes provided for and punished by articles 265, 266, 379, 386-3 and 385 of the Penal Code.
