Lawyer Angel Lockward affirmed yesterday that the resolution that authorizes the Specialized Prosecutor for the Persecution of Administrative Corruption (Pepca) to investigate the financial reports of dozens of people in relation to an investigation against the former Minister of Finance donald warriorwhich includes him, is based on a false report from the Comptroller.
Lockward argued that resolution 02-17-2022 of 17, issued on August 23 by Judge Kenya Rosemarycoordinator of the Court of Instruction of the National District and that authorizes the financial report, rests on a supposed “audit report” that has been declared false by the comptroller, who reportedly told the court in writing that he had not seen it, signed it, or processed.

According to the lawyer, by using false documents to obtain decisions from judges, the Supreme Court of Justicemonths ago, dismissed an imputation.
“The use of a false document corrupts all the judicial diligence that is made with the resolution. The other documents that make it up, as far as I can see, are normal legal trade, in relation to the cases handled by my office. Especially since the judge establishes that Pepca claims to be in possession of a report, something that we already know is not true according to the Comptroller, ”she said.
