Cuba thanks Colombian donation for those injured in the fire

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, thanked this Wednesday for the donation sent by the Colombian government to care for those injured in the fire that occurred at the Matanzas Supertanker Base.

“We appreciate the donation sent by Colombia, as an expression of the solidarity of its people and government with the people of Cuba, to help in the treatment and recovery of those injured in the accident that occurred at the Matanzas Supertanker Base,” Rodríguez wrote in your Twitter profile.

Colombia donates human skin to Cuba for victims of the fire in Matanzas

The donation of 3,000 square centimeters of human skin was managed between the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of Colombia, the Vice Ministry of Health of Cuba, the Cuban Embassy in Colombia and the Tissue Bank of the District Institute of Science, Biotechnology and Innovation in Health (IDCBIS) of Bogotá.

Considered the largest industrial accident in Cuba, the incident caused the death of 16 people, mostly firefighters, and left 146 injured.
