Shot down a “grenade launcher” in Cabimas

Shot down a "grenade launcher" in Cabimas

A subject dedicated to throwing grenades at businesses in Zulia for extortion purposes, was killed in Cabimas.

The victim is identified as Víctor Manuel Navarro Marín, a member of the criminal organization founded by Adrián José Rodríguez Gudiño (El Adrián).

Precisely, members of that gang threw a fragmentary grenade against the Discovery Hardware Store, located in the center of Cabimas (Zulia), which occurred on Tuesday.

One of the perpetrators of this act was Navarro Marín, who fled on a motorcycle which was chased by agents of the Bolivarian National Guard. During the chase there was an exchange of shots between criminals and military agents where Navarro Marín was killed.

At the scene of the events, the soldiers retained a revolver, caliber 7.65 mm, serial 391426, six cartridges and a Bera motorcycle, license plate AB9B84L.

Adrián’s band is one of those Zulian criminal structures specialized in extorting merchants, producers and businessmen settled in that entity. And to pressure the payment in dollars, they usually launch explosive devices against commercial premises or family residences of the victims, according to investigations.
