The ANMAT (National Administration of Drugs, Food and Medical Technology), published this Tuesday through its Official Gazette, that the sale of three hair products is prohibited, after being classified as false.
The organism reported that it identified “three false versions of nourishing and restorative masks belonging to a series of treatments of the Primont brand”, whose company had notified “that different apocryphal units were circulating on the market.” as reported by the ANMAT.
Consequently, the ANMAT initiated an investigation and determined that, as the company had denounced, three of its hair products had been counterfeitwhich represents a risk to the health of consumers.
Therefore, the control body determined that the products do not have the legal health data that is required, “their origin is unknown and if the preparation of the products was carried out with permitted ingredients and under the regulatory concentrations.”
Therefore, it considered that “its quality or safety of use cannot be guaranteed” and “a preventive ban on the marketing and use of the product in all its presentations is suggested.”
According to the entity’s report “the products indicated by the company as counterfeit have significant differences in their external visible characteristics, namely: quality, color, model and design of the packaging, legends, information and typography that appear on the labels. , size and net content.
These are the BTX hair treatment, the Nutri-repairing hair treatment and the Super Acid Mask from the Primont brand.which do not contain batch data, expiration date or registration with the ANMAT.
