THE TV Brazil strengthens the National Public Communication Network (RNCP) with the integration of the newest affiliate: the broadcaster RBI TV and its network of relays. The novelty expands the scope of programming to several metropolises in the country and dozens of municipalities in the interior of São Paulo.
According to the CEO of the Brazil Communication Company (EBC), Glen Valente, the negotiation brings benefits to the Brazilian citizen. “The entrance of RBI TV is the result of extensive negotiation. The broadcaster’s entry will have a positive impact on several locations, including in the National Television Panel (PNT) squares.”
The PNT measures the audience of national broadcasters in the 15 largest television content markets.
The broadcaster arrives to add to the RNCP which has grown a lot in recent years. Currently with about 60 stations, the structure makes the signal available by satellite and through cable television operators. The network led by TV Brazil also consolidated as the fifth broadcaster most attended in the country.
The cooperation will help in the process of expanding the TV Brazil. The availability of the channel’s productions on the small screen of RBI TV promotes public access to productions broadcast by RNCP. The agreement takes this signal to many regions hitherto without a window of TV Brazilin addition to providing the best of national content to viewers.
The public broadcaster has prioritized the growth of its network. The integration work has the purpose of airing quality productions and valuing regional aspects in the four corners of the country. THE RNCP aims to spread the attractions of the TV Brazilin addition to encouraging regional production through the exchange of artistic and journalistic content.
Participation in the network is established through contracts and cooperation agreements in which the affiliates undertake to transmit the programming of the TV Brazil and to participate in special coverage. In contrast, the EBCmanager of the public channel, provides rich programming, journalistic content of national relevance, provides technical support, training and equipment assignment.
