The president of Petropar, Denis Lichi, stated that in Paraguay the price of fuel was not completely raised to keep up with international costs.
Likewise, he said that casualties have been taking place but not at the rate at which they rose. “The casualties are taking place, but very slowly,” Lichi said in a conversation with 1080 AM.
“The instruction we have is to see month by month and if we can lower it, we will do it,” he responded to the possibility that a new reduction could be given at the end of the month.
In this regard, he explained that the new prices will be known in the first fortnight, when the product is received from the international market. “From there we have 15 days for it to reach our tank and then we average,” he said.
