Peiex is ApexBrasil’s Export Qualification Program that serves companies of all sizes and sectors. According to the agency, due to the potential of some specific areas of agriculture, such as fruit, there will be specialized assistance through onlinefree and customized.

According to ApexBrasil’s business director, Lucas Fiúza, the entrepreneur learns all the steps to be an exporter, such as the requirements of different markets, certifications and even the company’s own internal processes, including management systems and products.

“It is very valid for everyone who participates, they manage to skip many stages, where they would waste a lot of time, making mistakes alone, if they didn’t have this type of information”, he said.

“It is a very important agreement for the sector, which employs 5 million Brazilians, and is already a successful partner of Apex. This type of agreement, which is now being connected to Peiex, is crucial not only for us to promote our products, open new markets, but also to qualify all companies and producers”, highlighted Lucas Fiúza.

Currently, the country is the world’s third largest producer of fruit and the 24th largest exporter. The main exported fruits are mango, melon and grape.

About 58% of these products go to the European Union, 15% to the United Kingdom and 12% to the United States. Last year, Brazil shipped around 1.2 million tons of fruit to the international market, 18% more than in the previous year. In 2021, the sector’s revenue was US$ 1.060 billion, which represents a growth of 20% compared to 2020.
