Until this Monday, the Departmental Legislative Assembly (ALD) of Potosí has already made possible the approval of 20 synthetic turf pitch projects for an approximate value of Bs 69 million; that is, a sum that more than triples the cost that the purchase of 41 ambulances was going to have, which was frustrated by clear violations of the norm.
The projects follow the same path of illegality because, reported the newspaper El Potosí, because they violate the jurisdiction regime established by the CPE, and ignore the collision between two departmental laws, while, on the other hand, they have not been able to justify the unit cost of the works, estimated at an average of Bs 3.2 million, which is higher than other works, of productive development, which suggests a surcharge.
The ALD approved this Monday morning a total of six intergovernmental agreements between the same number of mayors and the Government of Potosí for the construction of synthetic turf fields for a total value of Bs 20.8 million which, added to the Bs 48 million of 14 previously viable projects, they reach the total sum of Bs 69 million.
