Maimón, Monsignor Nouel.- Continuing with its social responsibility programs and putting into practice the seventh principle of cooperativismthe Maimón Savings and Credit Cooperativedeveloped a vast social program during the year 2021, impacting an important part, not only of its associates, but also of its surroundings.
The president of Board of directors of the company cooperativeRamón Antonio Díaz indicated that during the past fiscal year, this company that recently reached its 31 years of service invested RD$ 22,768,035.43, in social action plans, being the educational field to which the largest investment was inclined, which exceeds 8 million pesos, through the entity’s scholarship program, development of the school season, development of polytechnics and professional technical training schools.
He also said that the contributions in education do not stop there, the XXXI Ordinary General Assembly and XXIV by delegates approved 12 million pesos for the construction of a Professional Technical school, in which young people can train for a decent job.

“Another of the areas impacted by Cooperativa Maimón was Community Development, where the institution made contributions of RD$1,179,527.64; continuing with the support of sports, where he came with contributions of RD$962,965.61 in sports activities”highlighted the cooperative leader.
He noted that the report of the jobs executed and the results obtained during the year 2021, it also indicates that in the areas of health and environment Coopmaimón allocated RD$557,534.29, while, in the areas of art and culture, the contribution was RD$1,242,816.65.
