Eletrobras had a net profit of R$ 1.4 billion in the second quarter of this year, 45% lower than in the same period of the previous year (R$ 2.5 billion). In the first half of the year, profit reached R$ 4.1 billion, a result 1% lower than in the first half of 2021.
The data were released last Friday night (12) and will be detailed in an interview today (15) in the afternoon.
Net operating revenue, on the other hand, grew 19%, from R$7.43 billion in the second quarter of 2021 to R$8.86 billion in the second quarter of this year.
Adjusted EBITDA (earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization) increased by 6%, from R$4.6 billion to R$4.86 billion in the period.
