How will the CTS for teachers? Good news for all the teachers of the country’s public schools was the one that was announced this Thursday, August 11, after the Congress of the Republic promulgated the law to modify the calculation formula regarding the service time compensation.
By means of the Law 31552 which was published in the legal regulations of the El Peruano Official Gazette literal h) corresponding to subsection 2.2 of the sole article of Law 31278 was modified, which modifies article 2 of Law 30328, a Law that establishes measures in educational matters and dictates other provisions.
The Compensation for Time of Service (CTS), a social benefit that aims to protect the worker from contingencies that may arise as a result of cessation of work.
It must be taken into account that with this modification it will allow many teachers in the country to enjoy their savings for the years they have carried out their work in the service of education and for the benefit of thousands of students.

WHO WILL BENEFIT FROM THIS STANDARD?
The standard published by Congress of the republic it will benefit contracted teachers, as well as teaching assistants who have been appointed and those hired by public schools.
THIS IS HOW THE CTS WILL BE CALCULATED FOR TEACHERS
Is there a way to calculate the CTS of teachers in public schools in the country. This will be done per year or fraction greater than six months of services that the teacher has worked.
In this sense, it is established that the contracted teacher receives his CTS at the end of your employment relationship and you will be able to enjoy the 100% of your full monthly remuneration (RIM).
Likewise, the appointed education assistant will be given to him at the time of his dismissal and may receive 100% of his monthly remuneration (RM), per year or fraction greater than six months of work.
While the contracted education assistant will also enjoy this benefit when their employment relationship ends. From that moment he will be able to enjoy 100% of his RM per year or all the months and days of services worked.
