The Ministry of Health published this Sunday the last epidemiological part of the nation, in which A total of 52,745 new infections are reported from coronavirusa rise of 26% compared to the previous week, when 41,735 infections were identified throughout the Argentine territory.
According to data released by the health portfolio, deaths associated with coronavirus they also suffered a rebound of 19.73% this week, since, between Monday 25 and Sunday 31 July, 91 deaths were recorded by the illness throughout the country, 15 more than last week.
Nationally, deaths from coronavirus were grouped as follows: 32 in the Province of Buenos Aires, 11 in Córdoba, 9 in the City of Buenos Aires (CABA), 9 in Entre Ríos, 7 in Salta, 6 in Mendoza, 4 in Chaco, 3 in Santiago del Estero, 2 in La Pampa, 2 in Neuquén, 2 in Río Negro, 2 in Santa Fe, 1 in San Juan and 1 in San Luis.
This is the fifth consecutive week that the statistics on new infections and deaths from the virus increase in Argentina. Now, since the start of the pandemic A total of 9,560,307 infections and 129,369 deaths have been registered throughout the countryone of the highest rates in Latin America and the world.
Vaccination Strategic Plan
Regarding the national immunization campaign, the Public Vaccination Monitor confirmed that a total of 107,823,754 inoculating sera have been applied throughout the countryof the 114,534,438 doses distributed.
Since the beginning of the campaign, some 40,881,916 Argentine men and women received the first dose, 37,698,518 completed the regimen with two vaccines and 3,133,494 people applied an additional dose. While 20,966,625 vaccinated have already reinforced the scheme with the third guideline and 5,120,991 already have two booster vaccines.
