The member of the Ministerial Cabinet pointed out that the way in which this group of police will work must be established, whose purpose is to support the investigations of the superior prosecutor Marita Barreto, who heads the special team of prosecutors against corruption in power.

“We are requesting an emergency meeting with the Attorney General’s Office, in order to discuss the issue of the special team. The National Police is commissioned by the Ministry of the Interior to be given all the facilities, but they must understand that procedures, functions, responsibilities have to be established for this purpose. It cannot be done overnight, there must be a reciprocal respect”, he declared for the press.
