Los Alcarrizos.- The Police arrested two young people accused of the death of Frederick Pérez Ventura, whose body was found last Sunday the 17th in a landfill near a ravine in La Guayiga, Pedro Brand.
The detainees are 20-year-old Jeremy de Jesús Rodríguez Evangelista (Geremi / or Mono Plata) and 19-year-old Argenis Nerlys Morillo de Los Santos (El Rubito).
The Regional Director of police in Santo Domingo Oeste, Colonel José Suárez Burgos, said that they are also looking for a minor under 16 years of age, who is a fugitive.
The young Pérez Ventura had gone out last Saturday the 16th in the afternoon in search of his mother and a niece, but when he did not arrive he was never considered missing, his body being found on Sunday the 17th in a landfill in La Guayiga in the municipality of Peter Brand.
According to Colonel Suárez Burgos, the youths, after being arrested by Dicrim agents, under the command of Colonel Edward Bautista, would have admitted having killed Pérez Ventura.

According to the Police, the young people stated that they had summoned Pérez Ventura, through the Grindr Chat website, used for dating and gay encounters, and agreed to meet on Saturday afternoon in an apartment in the Pablo Mella Residential Complex at kilometer 19 Highway Duarte, where the mother of Rodríguez Evangelista (Mono Plata) lived.
They told the investigators that once they were in the apartment they decided to strip him of all his belongings, but when Pérez Ventura resisted, they tied him up with two straps around his hands and feet, gagged him with adhesive tape on his mouth and Geremi gave him two thrusts to the back of the head, leaving him in the care of the minor fugitive.
He adds that they then left the apartment and left in Pérez Ventura’s car, a gray Honda Civic, license plate A389992, to a propane gas plant, located at kilometer 22 of the Duarte Highway.
They also stated that they used the victim’s credit card to withdraw 4,000 pesos and then returned to the apartment after receiving a call from the minor who was watching Pérez Ventura.
They indicated that when they arrived at said apartment they observed that Pérez Ventura was very aggressive, they decided to change his clothes for another, since he was very bloody, and they took him out of the apartment and put him in the car.
Already inside the car, the deceased today, according to the detainees, allegedly tried to take the knife from El Rubito and he received a wound in the right thigh, the minor held him and his companions stabbed them several times in different parts of the body until causing death. .
They added that once the crime was committed, they decided to throw the body into the landfill located near Pedro Brand’s La Guayiga ravine, and they fled with the car towards the Las Mercedes neighborhood where Christopher Arredondo (El Prota) resides, and there they found with Reinaldo Antonio Garcia (Danyer), who is detained and they propose to sell the car.
The young people then decide to go to Cotuí to look for a sale for the vehicle, since Danyer is from there, but on the way it turns off due to lack of gas. Then they sell the victim’s sneakers for a thousand pesos and noticing the presence of a police patrol at the scene, they flee, leaving the car abandoned in the La Piñita sector, where it was recovered by the authorities.
They also said that the victim’s cell phone was sold for 11,000 pesos in a cell phone store located at kilometer 25 of Autopista Duarte.
