Karelim López: Police rule out adjustment and assure that personal security was "reinforced"

According to sources of Peru21, the intervened woman is non-commissioned officer Lesli Rivas Calle, who is an intelligence agent of the Police Money Laundering Directorate. The deputy prosecutor Jorge García, a member of the special team investigating the environment of Pedro Castillo, also approached the police station to safeguard the integrity of the collaborator.

Although the investigated did not declare, PNP General Jhonny Véliz Noriega did, who denied that any type of “adjustment” had occurred.

“What happened today is that the (personal custody) service has been reinforced by intelligence agents because on Monday, July 11, an envelope was found in the back of his house”he stated.

Likewise, he assured that they have talked with the technical defense of Karelim López and the prosecution and ruled out that there have been more agents involved in the events that fled the scene.
