the congresswoman Norma Yarrow (Avanza País) asked the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations (SAC) to reconsider the decision that was made to delegate Congressman Edgar Raymundo (Democratic Change) as the person in charge of preparing the report on the constitutional complaints against the Vice President of the Republic, Dinah Boluarte.
Through an official letter addressed to the president of this parliamentary working group, Rosío Salinas (Alliance for Progress), Yarrow asked to convene a new session to evaluate and reconsider the agreement that appointed parliamentarian Raymundo as delegate in this case.
“I request to convene a session of the Subcommittee on Constitutional Accusations, in order to reconsider said agreement, and continue with the procedure provided for in article 89 of the Regulations of the Congress of the Republic”, reads the document sent by Yarrow Lumbreras.
In the same document, the legislator recalls that the also head of the Ministry of Agrarian Development and Irrigation (Midis) has against her complaints 268 and 269 for the alleged infringement of the Political Constitution of Peru.
“… for the alleged constitutional violation of articles 38 and 126 of the Political Constitution of Peru, and for the alleged commission of the crimes of omission, refusal or delay of functional acts, and incompatible negotiation or improper use of office, typified in articles 377 and 399 of the Penal Code, respectively”, it was detailed.
As recalled, one of the main arguments of this accusation against Boluarte Zegarra is the fact that she signed documents for the Apurímac Departmental Club when she was already Minister of State.
