The Chamber of Deputies approved the interpellation of the president of the board of directors of the Social Security Institute (IPS), Vicente Bataglia, after the alleged episode of malpractice that affected Mr. Ramón Samudio, in addition to a series of irregularities in tenders.
With 43 votes in favor, despite the opposition of the ruling party, it was possible to approve the interpellation of the president of the pension Vicente Bataglia, who will be exposed to the “vote of censure.”
Several Chartist, Liberal and other bench legislators expressed harsh criticism of Bataglia’s management, who must defend his management by responding to a questionnaire raised by the legislators.
