As of Monday, schoolchildren from state educational institutions in the Junín region go on vacation from July 25 to August 5. For the regional director of Education, Gustavo Olivera Cerrón, this period will be decisive for the control of contagion in the schools, many of which are in a quarantine period.

The official recalled that all kinds of crowding in educational institutions is prohibited, because the fourth wave affects schoolchildren in educational institutions.
He recalled that there are close to 68 educational institutions that are currently in quarantine throughout the Junín region of about 80 where there were infections by coronavirus. He noted that the restrictive measures will be for the month of July, but that sports activities are expected to be reactivated in August.
He asked that this season they take care of themselves in the educational community with the use of the mask, hand washing and avoiding crowds.

Finally, the director Gustavo Olivera demanded that the data of students who were infected with COVID-19 be honest. And if they are verified with the screening, it is necessary that classes be suspended for 7 days during the quarantine period.
