Sappers from the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB) deactivated four 150-kilogram explosive canisters planted by the Colombian Armed Drug Trafficking Terrorists (Tancol) group in Apure state.
The information was released by the Strategic Operational Commander of the FANB (Ceofanb), Domingo Hernandez Larezthrough his account on the Twitter social network, in which he specified that the explosive cylinders were found and deactivated in “the Quiebra Patas sector, Angosturas, Páez municipality”, in Apure state.
Likewise, Hernández Lárez explained that the artifacts were found after tracking work by FANB sappers.
These cylinders, indicated the Head of Ceofanb, are used “to intimidate and kill our compatriots. We will continue to give results, cleaning and liberating the territory », he stressed.
Defused 30 explosives

Other 14 explosive devices
Last weekend other 14 artifacts explosives of different charges. FANB members located them in the Santa Rosa sector, José Antonio Páez municipality (Guasdualito), Apure.
In addition to the explosives, the soldiers obtained “gunpowder, 7.62×39mm ammunition, supply material and other supplies.”

Seized 22 thousand kilograms of drugs in 2022
Venezuela has achieved the seizure of more than 22,000 kilograms of drugs so far in 2022, the National Anti-Drug Superintendent, Major General (MG) Richard López Vargas, recently reported.
“Venezuela is a territory free of illicit crops, as a result of the effective public policies of the Venezuelan State in this matter, achieving the seizure of more than 22 thousand kilograms of drugs this year”, said López Vargas, during the presentation of the 2022 Anti-Drug Balance of Venezuela in the “II Seminar Conference on the Fight against the World Drug Problem as part of the Nation’s Security”, held last Thursday.
López Vargas, in statements reflected in a Sunad press release, points out that the 22,000 kilograms of drugs were seized in 4,027 procedures carried out in 1,141 Quadrants of Peace, deployed throughout the national territory, in order to combat trafficking and drug microtrafficking.
