Three members of the Las Pirañas criminal group, who operate in the Coche parish, Libertador municipality of Caracas, were captured by members of the Bolivarian National Guard (GNB), according to military sources.
The subjects were registered as Erick Jesús Acosta Mejía, Anderson Javier Bastidas and Raúl Yampier Marcano.
At the time of arrest, the subjects possessed a .38-caliber revolver, with no visible mark or serial number, four .38-caliber cartridges, a 12-gauge shotgun, with no visible mark or serial number, two 12-gauge cartridges, a bag, two telephone sets and an Hourse motorcycle, Empire Keeway, no license plate.
These people were handed over to the Public Ministry where they opened a file for illicit possession of a firearm and robbery.
