The former senator and former vice president of the Republic, Lucía Topolansky, suffered a domestic accident on the night of Saturday, July 16, as reported through her social networks by Espacio 609, the Frente Amplio movement that she and José Mujica lead.
As a result of said accident, she suffered a wrist fracture and a fractured hip, immediately starting treatment at a care center where she is hospitalized.
She will be operated on in the next few days at the Casmu sanatorium.
