Eight districts will start their winter school break next Monday, with which all students and teachers in the country will be on vacation, since another 16 provinces had started their mid-year break a week ago.

In the last week, the Minister of Education of the Nation, Jaime Perczyk, signed agreements with the governments of Tucumán, Chaco, Santa Cruz and Catamarca to implement after the winter holidays one more hour of classes per day to allow, according to the official, that “students can intensify learning in Language and Mathematics, which are the basis of any other knowledge”.
Minister Perczyk’s proposal, approved by resolution 426/21 of the Federal Council of Education (CFE), provides that primary schools start to have a minimum floor of 25 hours per week.
