The Mass Transportation System of Panama City and San Miguelito (Mi Bus) reported this Thursday that it will operate normally, but that changes may occur amid the protests carried out by different groups due to the high cost of living.

“We will be operating our services as usual, however, if there are closures and diversions, they will be communicating through our official platforms as we usually do,” the company reported on its social networks.

During the week the flow of the routes has been affected by various protests in the capital city.

Even incidents of vandalism against buses have already been reported, which generated panic for both users and drivers. An incident has already been reported in Chilibre in recent days when stones were thrown at a bus.
