85% of the 2025 budget in the ALD is intended for salaries, per diem, bonuses and other assignments

For this management, the Departmental Legislative Assembly (ALD) of Santa Cruz It has an approved budget of Bs 25,709,226 for short -term actions, of which 85% is intended for salaries, per diem, bonuses and other assignments.

Elmer Trujillo, senior officer of the ALD, reported on the distribution of this budget for short -term actions. He explained that These Bs 25,709,226 are distributed in five spending groups, The first are Personal Services Bs 21,974,469 (85.47%) destined for salaries payments, labor obligations, diets, bonuses and others.

The second group are non -personal services BS 1,894,933 (7.37%) which are intended for the payment of basic services, passages, per diem, transport insurancerental of equipment and vehicle maintenance, among others.

In the third group are the materials and supplies BS 1,639,824 (6.38%) that is used for the payment of personnel snacks, food expenses, office materials, textiles, clothing, fuel, tires and lubricants, among others.

In the fourth group are the assets BS 193,000 (0.75%) that are intended for the purchase of office equipment, computer furniture and others. Finally, in the fifth group are the funds for other Bs 7,000 (0.03%) expenses that go to the payment of tolls and vehicular inspections.

“The distribution of the budget for spending gesture, 85.47% is assigned to personal services, 7.37% to non -personal services and 6.38% to materials and supplies. To be understood, In total they are scheduled to meet the logistics requirements, the execution of activities and operation of the Assembly 13.78% of the total approved budget equivalent to Bs 3,541,757 ”, Trujillo explained during his speech.

He also reported on financing sources for this budget. The resources that come from departmental royalties are Bs 21.084.802 (82.01%), the resources that are typical of the Government Cruz Bs 30,000 (0.12%) and finally, the funds that come from the General Treasury of the Nation (TGN) and the Direct Tax on Hydrocarbons (HDI), Bs 4,050,242 (15.75%).

The president of the ALD, Antonio Talamás, highlighted accountability because it is a tool to strengthen democracy, Transparency and citizen participation.

During his speech, Talamás stressed that 2025 management begins with renewed energy and a legislative agenda focused on attending the priorities of the department.

“This agenda is based on principles such as equity, sustainability, the defense of the environment, respect for fundamental rights and strengthening our autonomies,” said authority.
