THE Federal Deputy Glauber Braga (PSOL-RJ) filed a appeal to the Constitution and Justice Commission of the Chamber of Deputies (CCJ) against approval of the process of revoking his mandate by the Ethics Council.
In the appeal, the parliamentary asks for the annulment of the rapporteur’s opinionDeputy Paulo Magalhães (PSD-BA) and that the suspicion of the rapporteur is declared, for having acted with partiality, according to the deputy.
“The appellant, therefore, does not intend to reevaluate the merits, but that, from the facts, evidence and circumstances, the constitutional and regimental order is re -established, for example by declaring the absence of just cause, aptitude of the initial (ineptitude), the disproportionality or not reasonableness of the penalty of cancellation, or that for the facts that occurred it is not possible to penalize the appeal, the appeal, says the appeal. Braga and his lawyers.
Braga It claims that there has been curtailment of defense, that it suffers political persecution and that the penalty of cancellation of the mandate is disproportionatesince the regiment of the house foresees punishment of verbal or written censorship for cases of breach of parliamentary decorum.
According to the document, “political persecution proved to each exceptionally swift act of the council, every request denied to the defense and with each stance of the increasingly evident judges.”
“Passing to members of the Ethics Council who have Glauber as an enemy to be deducted and a political rapporteur, personal and psychologically involved in the case, who prejudiced and did not consider any of the evidence of the represented, all culminated in an absolutely disproportionate penalty, either by the processed facts – which confirm a reaction to reiterated acts of insistent persecution (stalking) Ethics or cassations or unpaid by the House of Representatives, “he argues.
CCJ
If The CCJ accepts any of the points of Braga’s appeal, the questioned stretch will have to be reanalized by the Ethics Council.
Case The Commission rejects the appeal, the opinion approved by the Board goes to the Board of Directors of the House.

Braga said he reacted to the provocations of the MBL member, who has, according to him, a history of provocations in sequence.
After approval, the Deputy made hunger strike that lasted nine days, closed after agreement signed with the mayor, Hugo Motta (Republicans- PB)which provides that the revocation process will not be analyzed in this first semester
