After 5:00 p.m., a 4.9 magnitude earthquake was registered in Guayaquil. The report of Geophysical Institute indicates that the earthquake had a depth of 20.19 km, 16 km from Pedro Carbo, Guayas province, and was also felt in several cities of Guayas, such as Durán, Samborondón, Daule, and in sectors of Manabí, such as Jipijapa. At the moment (17:49), no casualties or injuries are reported. (AVV)
