36 people arrested for stealing 96 sacks of electrical conductors

The Bolivarian National Guard (GNB) recovered 96 bags of electrical conductors stolen from the Corpoelec company, according to military sources. So far there are 36 people detained.

The procedure was carried out in Industrial Zone II, Barquisimeto (Lara) where the military carried out a technical inspection of a shed. There they located two complete reels and 93 bags of electrical conductors (aluminum cables), weighing 50,000 kilograms of strategic material and three forklifts.

During the search of the premises, 36 people allegedly related to the theft of the materials were arrested and identified as: Yonaiker Herrera Bazán, Josué Isaac Jaime Niño, Ramón José Lucena Agüero, José Alexander Lara Lara, Flekerson Jesús Barrada Rivero, Carlos Luis Díaz Colmenares, Danilo David García Mendoza, Flerwim Elimelec Barradas Suárez, Héctor Alfredo Piña Martínez, Alejandro José González Arbujas, Kilian Jackson Arrieche Franco, Eduard José Gómez Moreno, Héctor Edilio Bravo Andrade, Giordins Edgardo Méndez Molina, Luis Alfredo Rodríguez Esaa, Alexis José Petit Gutiérrez, Albert José Gil Parra, Luis Addlelkrins Jiménez Carantoña, José Eduardo Aldana, Yani Samuel Vizcaya Linares, Jairo García García, Víctor Manuel Cárdenas, Miguel Ángel Viloria Narváez, Edgar José Castellanos Pinzones, Edsel José Barradas Perozo, Juan Rafael Echeverría, Deibi Alexander Villanueva Retaco , Jose Antonio Herrera Mendoza, Joshua Javier Flores Rios, Rogelio Aguilera Castillo Mo rales, Roger José Lucena Gil, Jorge Antonio Goyo Canelón, Luis Ángel Castro Pérez, Carlos Alberto Franco Atay, Yobany Alfonso Cárdenas Flores Yenifer José Querales Cabrales.

These people will be prosecuted for the crime of theft of strategic material.
