The Mexican authorities confirmed this Friday the death of at least 29 people, in the middle of the day of violence unleashed since yesterday in the state of Sinaloa, after the arrest of Ovidio “El Ratón” Guzmán, one of the sons of “El Chapo”. » Guzmán most wanted by the United States.
According to Luis Cresencio Sandoval, Secretary of National Defense of Mexico (SEDENA), of the 29 deceased, a dozen belonged to the country’s Armed Forces and 19 correspond to the criminal groups that generated the violent disturbances.
Sandoval assured that so far there has been no death of innocent civilians.
