Within the framework of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities, the objective of the conference was to present different cases of preparation for work and labor inclusion of people with disabilities, promoting the elimination of attitudinal, communicational and architectural barriers, among others, that hinder or prevent the full, active and effective participation of people with disabilities on an equal footing with others in the workplace.
Based on the stories of those who were protagonists, their experiences were shared, the processes they went through, the difficulties encountered, the challenges to overcome and the tools used, with a focus on the articulation achieved with the Coordination of Support for Workers with Disabilities.
