1-1: Independiente needs penalties on their debut

Independent surpassed its premiere in the Argentine Cup with a lot of effort through penalties (4-3) after equalizing 1-1 in regulation time with North Central from Salta.

The first phase of the Copa Argentina will continue on Sunday with the match between Racing Club against Gimnasia and Tiro de Salta in Santiago del Estero, while on Wednesday, March 30, Defensa y Justicia will meet Sacachispas.

The following week Central Córdoba from Santiago del Estero will face Gimnasia y Esgrima from Jujuy, and Sarmiento from Junín will face Flandira on April 5, while Newell’s Old Boys will meet Ituzanngó the following day.
