Zulay Rodríguez: “I pray to God every night hoping that Gaby doesn’t go out”

Zulay Rodríguez, presidential candidate for free postulation and member of the Democratic Revolutionary Party, referred to the final stretch in the campaign to collect signatures where she has been in first place until now.

«I keep in communication with my activists at the national level, Sunday was a difficult day due to the heavy rain and therefore I lowered my collection of signatures that we carry out daily, the problem with me is the Electoral Tribunal, every day They audit me, every day they look for the smallest detail, these days they annulled 300 signatures and now the rules of the game have changed, before they indicated that you could appeal, but now the same Review Commission that does the audits does not allow you appeal and I feel that there is a selective audit against me,” said Rodríguez.

The candidate for free application, when asked if she would vote in the PRD primaries, said “that she will remain completely on the sidelines, I am not going to vote, the people who think I was going to vote, I will not be there.”

Regarding the PRD primary elections, Rodríguez is clear that he does not want her to win in these elections: “Well, I pray to God every night hoping that Gaby doesn’t come out, I tell her oh my God that she doesn’t come out, that she doesn’t come out , but I understand that the public employees, the directors have already thrown the guidelines at them, they have to take photographs of how they are going to vote, they have to send it to them and unfortunately the Electoral Tribunal does nothing about it ».
