The clarification was made by the general manager of the Regional Government, Roy Gonzales Mayta, who pointed out that the authority will maintain its work commitment until the last day of its mandate, concentrating on executing the works and projects in progress.
In recent weeks there has been speculation about a possible candidacy of Cárdenas as first vice president in the “Fuerza y Libertad” alliance, made up of Batalla Perú, an organization founded by him, and Fuerza Moderna, Fiorella Molinelli’s party. However, the governor decided not to participate in the electoral process.
