He assured that “the best legacy we can leave is that we have dignity and honesty.” He added that the Ortega regime is going to try to ensure that the opposition does not “live up to true unity.”

Vilma Núñez: “Nicaragua has become a prison”

In the same activity this Friday, the human rights defender and president of the Nicaraguan Center for Human Rights (Cenidh), Wilma Nunez, He said that “the destruction of the social fabric that persists in Nicaragua is not new.”

“We have all prioritized their freedom in our agendas and demand that the chains that bind them be broken and that they be able to go out into the streets and that we can walk to the doors of “El Chipote” and all the detention centers to receive them” he added.

All the participants in “Cry for Political Prisoners” agreed that Nicaraguans should not lose hope and should continue fighting to achieve unity and defeat the Nicaraguan regime that continues to repress and imprison.
