The governor of La Pampa, Sergio Ziliottoopened this Wednesday the 54th period of ordinary sessions of the provincial Legislature with a balance of management, accusations of “discrimination” against the national Supreme Court and expressions of confidence in his re-election.
“In our province To speak of democracy is to speak of Peronism. Every time there were free elections, society gave us the responsibility to govern. And we have no doubt that he will continue to accompany us,” he said.
In several sections, Ziliotto alluded to the rulings of the Court since the government of Mauricio Macri denied the province funds for public works and housing.
“Lately, the rulings of the Court, or its inaction, accentuate the discrimination against the pampeanos, cutting off rights, not only water rights. There are other examples. It has been 3 years since a simple settlement form was approved, which would allow us to recover erroneously discounted co-participation funds“, he denounced.
“Meanwhile, in a very short time, it resolved a lawsuit from CABA, endorsing a 2016 decree by former President Macri, by which he tripled the co-participation of the richest city in the country to the detriment of all the provinces of Argentina,” he compared. .
Ziliotto described it as “an arbitrary and political ruling. We were not wrong when we asked for his trial, more evidence of the spurious relationship of the Court with the CABA government emerges every day. Wherever and before whomever, we will continue to defend La Pampa “.
He thanked the national government for its support, announced investments in housing, the Internet, hospitals, and energy, and announced that he will seek to nationalize the natural gas service: “Today we produce 79% of total consumption. With Pampetrol and the cooperatives, we are facing a key opportunity to clear the path towards energy sovereignty for the people of the Pampas,” he said.
