With the recruitment operations of the Zero Vulnerability Plan, the staff of the Fundación Misión Negra Hipólita (FMNH) approached homeless citizens, managing to transfer them to the Initial Attention Centers (CAI) in Caracas.
According to a press release, with these approaches they fully attended older adults and minors in the Ruiseñor de Catuche, Fundación Forjando Futuro, Argelia Laya, Mariposas del Waraira, El Nido del Águila and Paula Correa centers, among others.
In the case of homeless women, they were sent to the Belinda Álvarez Initial Care Center (CAI), located on Andrés Bello Avenue.
While the men were sent to the Generalissimo Francisco de Miranda Triage, on the Petare-Guarenas Highway and in the CAI Aquiles Nazoa de Quinta Crespo.
Stages of the Zero Vulnerability Plan
With the execution of the Zero Vulnerability Plan, 5 phases are established. The first is the location and suitability of spaces for comprehensive care. The second raises the approach and recruitment of citizens, the third seeks comprehensive care and sponsorship and the fourth aspires to social, intra-family and community care.
While the fifth and final phase is based on permanent control and monitoring through the Quadrants of Peace.
Currently, the second and third phases of this program are being carried out with these boarding operations, in which different agencies of the national government participate. Among the most outstanding are the Ministry of People’s Power of the Office of the Presidency and Monitoring of Government Management, the Mayor’s Office of Caracas and the Government of Caracas.
Also included are the Fundación Misión Negra Hipólita (FMNH), the Autonomous Institute of the National Council for the Rights of Children, Girls and Adolescents (IDENNA), the National Institute of Social Services (INASS), as well as the Ministry of Popular Power for Health (MPPSALUD). ), and the Presidential Commission for Dignified Shelters (COPREDIG).
With these actions, the national government and the different institutions that provide support and protection contribute to the rescue of citizens in vulnerable conditions. At the same time, they guarantee a timely response to those most in need in specialized centers for their comprehensive care.
