“We are with zero stock in pharmacies, the colleagues are leaving their treatmentswe are going to Clorinda to be able to buy our medicines,” said one of the affected women in an interview with Universo radio, during the demonstration held in front of the Ministry of Public Health.
One of the injectables in need is the Fulvestran, which has not arrived in the country for three months, according to the patients. To this is added the breakdown of the tomograph six months ago.
“With this, the treatment goes to the deck because it is cut, So there is no continuity”, lamented the member of the Association of Patients with Breast Cancer.

The situation itself was already serious at the end of 2022 and concern is growing now with the budget cut that affects Public Health and, therefore, the National Cancer Institute (INCAN).
The Vice Minister of Health, Hernán Martínez, will receive in the course of the morning the spokespersons of the group, in order to listen to their concerns and give some answer.
