Businessman Zamir Villaverde pointed out – without any proof – that the former presidential secretary Bruno Pacheco gave two million soles to the Republic President, peter castlefor the Petroperú Biodiesel tender. The person investigated for corruption gave his statement this Tuesday, May 17, before the Congressional Oversight Commission from the Ancón I penitentiary.
“About the 2 million soles, Mr. Bruno tells me that Karelim López gave him the money to deliver to the President of the Republic, as a result of the tenders that were held in Petroperú,” Villaverde said during his speech – before the parliamentary group – without providing further details or presenting evidence of the assertion.
Along these lines, the businessman also spoke about the alleged electoral fraud of the General Elections 2021 which would have led to the assumption of peter castle as President of the Republic.

“I was an eyewitness to how, until the last two days that the results were known, how the president (Castillo) talked with the president of the National Elections Jury,” said Villaverde, who accused Vladimir Meza of telling the truth about how the president won the elections because, as he said, “he was by his side.”
“I have known the man (Vladimir Meza) since the second campaign of 2021 along with Bruno Pacheco and Silvia Barrera. (…) He spent about 3 million dollars to help Castillo with people linked to the National Elections Jury, ”he added without evidence.
On Bruno Pacheco’s $20,000
Zamir Villaverde, during his statement at the Oversight Commission, noted that Bruno Pacheco asked him to lend him money after the Public Ministry seized it in the bathroom of the presidential secretariat.

“About the US$20,000 found, Mr. Bruno asked me to say that I lent him that money. After the scandal I told him no. He told me that those US$20,000 were the product of the collection of quotas for promotions made by Karelim and the president”, he added.
After making some statements, the person investigated for the irregular adjudication of the Ministry of Transport and Communications (MTC), decided not to answer the questions of the congressmen and take advantage of his right to remain silent.
