Zagallonicknamed ‘Old Wolf’, is one of the most important coaches in the history of Brazilian football, being four times world champion with the canarinha -two as a player, one as a coach and another as a coordinator-, a world record.
Born on August 9, 1931 in the state of alagoas, He acted as a striker during his time as a player, in which he defended Flamengo and Botafogo and won the world championships Sweden 1958 and Chile 1962 along with Edson Arantes do Nascimento ‘Pelé’, who recently sent him encouragement.
As a coach, Zagallo conquered the Mexico World Cup 1970 and as technical coordinator of United States 1994being the only one who has won four world titles in the history of football.
