The Minister of Social Development, Juan Zabaleta will visit popular neighborhoods on the Atlantic coast of Buenos Aires and will launch the Best Summer program in the city of Mar del Plata, which offers free recreational activities for children and adolescents, as well as a local entrepreneurs fair.
The minister’s visit will begin in the Las Heras neighborhood to visit works that involved an investment of 145 million pesos in the laying of the electrical network, sewers, pedestrian network, drinking water, enhancement of public spaces, trees and garbage containers. .
From these jobs, some 70 jobs were generated for cooperatives, with benefits that reached a thousand families, it was explained in a statement from the Ministry of Social Development.
What’s more, Through the My Piece program, with an investment of just over 212 million pesos, the State reached 896 families from 52 popular neighborhoods in the city of Mar del Plata and works were also developed in another 10 neighborhoods of General Pueyrredon, in a global scheme for which 891 million pesos were allocated.
Necochea will be another city that will join this action plan, through an agreement that Zabaleta will sign with the municipality.
On the other hand, The head of the social portfolio will participate in the launch of the Best Summer program in the Miter square in Mar del Plata, where activities will take place between 2:00 and 24:00 this Saturday and between 8:00 and 23:00 on Sunday.
The proposal includes a festival of activities, among which there will be theater, music bands, freestyle dance groups, open-air film screenings, an interactive science stand, parkour and a planetarium with multimedia shows for girls, boys and their families.
Parallel, Some 40 entrepreneurs from the popular economy will present their products and the National Ministry of Health will install a mobile health post.
Best Summer will be replicated on January 15 and 16 in Santa Clara del Mar, Mar Chiquita party; on the 22nd and 23rd in Miramar, General Alvarado’s party and will close the month, on the 29th and 30th, in the Partido de la Costa.
On February 5 and 6 the activity will be in Villa Gesell, while on February 12 and 13 it will once again be in Mar del Plata and on 19 and 20 the closing will be in the Partido de la Costa.
