The Foreign Minister of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Yván Gil, from New York and in the framework 80 General Assembly of the United Nations Organization (UN), said that an escalation of a conflict against the Venezuelan territory would become a catastrophe for a whole regionhighlighting that the only defense is the attachment to the United Nations Charter.
He said that this is the only legal instrument has allowed us to set a common position for the defense of this letter, in which “until now it is rape, being one of the main affected the population of Gaza with a genocide and with the violation of its territory by the occupants of Palestine and the United States.”
Gil warned, among representatives from 18 countries, that for the Bolivarian nation an aggression is prepared with more force, however, citizens are prepared to overcome in perfect unity, while making a call, in the name of Venezuela, to “strengthen this group of friends of the United Nations Charter and that we begin to travel a dynamic in all spaces to raise our voice and thus take joint actions that will allow to continue with significant actions.”
At the VII Ministerial Meeting of the Group of Friends in Defense of the United Nations Charter, Gil exalted that up to date, Venezuela is experiencing a violation of the principles of the Charter «Being subject to the use of forces against a United Nations member nation with the setting drug trafficking ».
He also stressed that President Nicolás Maduro Moros, a constitutional leader chosen by the will of the people is accused as a sponsor of narcotic when official reports of the UN support the opposite, only with the “objective of appropriating natural, energy resources and a regime change.”
Gil said that today “the United Nations Charter has been subject to constant attacks by those powers that seek expansionism and that seek to appropriate our natural, technological and physical resources.”
