In Pittí’s opinion, there is a spectacularization of violence, which has somehow made us feel less when we hear news of violent events.
The Planning and Evaluation manager of the Panamanian Association for Family Planning (Aplafa), Yuri Pittí, spoke about violence against women, indicating that part of the challenge of understanding the attitude of the term sexual education is incorporating the term “ integrality”.
He expressed that we must begin to call on men not to normalize violence, “we must begin to work on new masculinities, anger management and when it is generating a toxic dynamic.”
In Pittí’s opinion, there is a spectacularization of violence, which has somehow made us feel less when we hear news of violent events, particularly when talking about sexual violence against children and adolescents.
He referred to the peaceful march that will take place at 4:00 pm this Tuesday, in front of the Senniaf premises towards the Attorney General’s Office, which seeks to make a call to the authorities and let’s begin to see the figures of violence sexual and femicide for what they are.
