The “Meeting of Suppliers” and similar events of Yacimientos Petrolíferos Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB) will allow the state oil company to promote until the end of this year at least a dozen hydrocarbon exploration and development projects of oil fields, said the corporation’s president, Armin Dorgathen.
“We try to boost” this objective “with this type of events and fairs”stated the executive, before specifying that the current fair seeks to close contracts for $350 million.
The Meeting with Suppliers of the Fair of Procurement of Goods and Services “Open Doors” began today Monday in Santa Cruz and will run until Wednesday, February 15.
“We understand the need we have to make investments, especially in the exploration and development of fields, in order to increase production. That is one of our main challenges and it is what we have more than 50% of the investments in this year”, said Dorgathen.
