YPFB, ENDE and ANH deliver 18 tons of supplies to victims of forest fires

Bolivian Fiscal Oilfields (YPFB), the National Electricity Company (ENDE) and the National Hydrocarbons Agency (ANH) They delivered 18 tons of supplies and medicines to the Eighth Army Division for the affected families and volunteer firefighters fighting forest fires in the eastern part of the country.

Alejandro GallardosMinister of Hydrocarbons and Energy, indicated that, as a Government, headed by President Luis Arce, work is underway to get out of this situation.

According to the Vice President of Administration, Contracts and Inspection of YPFB, Wilman Yabeta, The campaign carried out was a result of joint work.

“Today under the mandate of our president Lucho and in coordination with the head of the hydrocarbon sector, We have organized ourselves to help in this critical moment that the country is experiencing with forest fires.“, Yabeta said.

Donations include non-perishable food, clothing, drinking water, medicines, hygiene equipment and first aid.

Besides, Fireproof shirts were provided (which prevent the spread and inflammation of the fire), gloves, rigid water tanks and backpacks. The material was transported in 13 vans, two buses, five tankers and an ambulance.

The delivery of this donation is the result of a solidarity campaign developed by the staff and executives of Head Office, YPFB Chaco, YPFB Andina, YPFB RefinaciónYPFB Transport, YPFB Aviation, YPFB Logistics, Transierra and GasTrans Boliviano (GTB), ENDE and ANH also joined.

The state-owned oil company, committed to social responsibility, coordinated the delivery with local authorities and relief agencies to ensure that the supplies reach those who need them most quickly and efficiently.

The needs are many, the fire gives no respite”said Colonel Carmelo Ardaya of the Eighth Army Division, after symbolically receiving the donation.
