In Santa Cruz, the president of YPFB, Armin Dorgathen, reported that the state oil company has been carrying out an audit process on fuel imports since the 2016 administration and that, at the same time, in the coming days, will inhabit a virtual portal ‘YPFB Transparency’ with specific information related to the process of acquisition of liquid fuels (diesel and gasoline), this to end the “disinformation campaign and attempted destabilization” of the Government and discredit of which the company is targeted.
“We have already instructed to do an audit (on the purchase of fuels), not only to the year 2022, but from 2026, to see why it was imported more expensive instead and to be able to determine what the situations have been. The audit has already been ordered to be carried out a couple of weeks ago, we have no problem making the purchase processes transparent“, he claimed dorgathen.
He affirmed that he is open to any inspection and attributed the denunciation of ex-authorities about an alleged ‘overimportation’ of fuels to an action to destabilize the national government with unfounded and incorrect data.
In the context of transparency, President YPFB hinted that, in the coming days, a transparency section will be enabled on the official page of the state oil company with data relating to historical volumes of fuel imports, daily reports of operations, logistics costs, as well as national and international prices.
“People are going to know how much fuel has become important, how much we are importing today, at what price we are importing, the historical prices, at what price is it today, how is the price on an international scale, how is the price of crude oil, What supplier are we buying from and where is it entering the country?”, he claimed Dorgathen and added that, in this way, any college student will be able to add and see if the import volumes are correct or not.
Days ago, former ministers Carlos Romero and Teresa Morales handed over to the bloc of MAS legislators, close to former President Evo Morales, the documentary ‘evidence’ of the pCorruption in the state company YPFB is revealed, regarding the importation of fuels and direct contracts. They requested to activate the control through the Legislative Assembly.
According to the calculations of the former Minister of Economic Development Teresa Morales, the initial amount only for cExcessive purchase or import of gasoline and diesel in 2022 it was $1.6 billion, “without tell that it had been smuggled”.
